My Story
I have always believed that the smallest stories can hold the weight of the world. My path began far from books and pages—on dusty roads, in crowded markets, and under the heavy heat of skies that held both promise and pain. For years, I worked alongside communities fighting to reclaim their voice, their dignity, and their future. These moments—quiet, raw, and unshaken—taught me that every life is its own story of courage.

Writing became the way I carry those stories forward. The Ricci Press is not just a home for my thrillers and children’s books; it is a continuation of the conversations I’ve had with farmers in remote villages, children with laughter louder than war, and women who rose to rebuild entire worlds from ruin.

Through books like Dane Mercer: Into the Machine, I explore the tensions between power and humanity, silence and resistance. Through my children’s stories, I celebrate kindness, hard work, and the beauty of everyday lives. Storytelling is my way of connecting—of remembering that even in dark times, there is light, there is wonder, and there is hope.

Into the Machine
In a world built on surveillance, silence, and control, Dane Mercer is about to wake up.

When a rogue encounter pulls him into a conspiracy far deeper than he ever imagined, Dane is forced to question everything—his past, his purpose, and even his own body. As he runs from a powerful tech empire known as Erebus, Dane finds unexpected allies: a defiant scientist, a rebellious fighter, and a mysterious girl with secrets of her own. Together, they uncover a truth that could dismantle the system—or destroy them all.

Dane Mercer: Into the Machine is a genre-bending sci-fi thriller about resistance in the face of rising tyranny, the courage it takes to find your voice, and the power of reclaiming your humanity in an increasingly mechanized world. Set in a near future where democracy teeters on the edge, this debut novel pulses with urgency, heart, and rebellion.

Perfect for fans of Black Mirror, Legend, and The Hunger Games—but with a spirit all its own.
